    As the title suggests, this is an introductory book covering the basics of corrosion. It is intended primarily for professionals who are not corrosion experts, but may also be useful as a quick 3/5(2). The goal of this Special Issue is to present state-of-the-art research on passivity and localized corrosion phenomena, with emphasis on the interplay between microstructure and performance.
